Full Effluent Management

In the ever-evolving world of dairy farming, efficiency and sustainability are paramount. Recognizing these critical needs, Webber & Chivell’s Ag Services has proudly introduced the 9.5 meter dribble bar. Coupled with the powerful GEA Stirrer, this duo is setting new standards in effluent management and nutrient distribution.

The Dribble Bar: Precision and Efficiency Combined

Gone are the days of inefficient and uneven effluent spreading. Webber & Chivell’s dribble bar reaches comfortably 1400 meters from the effluent pond, utilizing robust lay-flat hoses ranging from 4 to 6 inches in diameter. This system is designed to maximize flow rates of effluent onto pasture in a single pass. The result? Significantly reduced compaction on paddocks and a more efficient reduced compaction on paddocks and a more efficient job completion time.

The dribble bar is equipped with a mecerator, which plays a pivotal role in reducing solids within the effluent pond. Effluent water is forced through a set of sharp knives in the mecerator and then exquisitely distributed through small tubes just above the ground. This ensure uniform placement across the 9.5 meter bar. Enabling quick and even application to the paddock. Resulting in getting paddocks back into rotation faster than ever before. Besides, the bar is equipped with a flow meter, offering precise control over the amount of effluent dispersed at any given moment. Integrated seamlessly with our Tracmap system, it provides unparalleled accuracy in effluent management. This not only facilitates easy monitoring of application rates but also aids in maintaining a comprehensive history of nutrient management.

The GEA Stirrer: Power and Flexibility

Complementing the dribble bar, the GEA stirrer emerges as a vital component in preparing the effluent for distribution. This 9-meter-long PTO-drive pond stirrer is a game-changer in achieving the perfect effluent consistency. The 24 propeller articulates an additional 40 degrees beyond traditional fixed head stirrers. This ensures thorough mixing and breaking up of heavy solids, setting the stage for an optimized effluent management process.
